Best Android Games Of 2014

Google announces Best Android Games of 2014

The year is about to end and Google is busy wrapping up a lot of things. It already released the the Best Apps of 2012 list and now this: the Best Android Games of 2014. We still don’t know what was Google’s criteria in coming up with the ‘Best Games’ but we’re glad a number of our favorites made it to the list.

On top of the list is 'Monument Valley'. This paid app first became popular as an iOS game. It even won an Apple Design Award a few months ago and now that it’s on Android, many gamers have finally understood what it’s all about so it’s not surprising USTWO’s most downloaded game made the cut.

No mention if the apps are listed by ranking but at least most of us would agree with Google on the best games for this year. Some of the Android games considered best include 'Terra Bettle', Slingshot Braves, Shadow Fight 2, 'Candy Crush Soda Saga', 'Farmville 2: Country Escape', 'Clash of Clans', 'Kim Kardashian (uh huh..)', 'War of Nations', 'CSI: Hidden Crimes', and 'Frozen Free Fall'.
Most of the apps are free for download so we can’t say those included in the list are the most profitable for Google. Only six are paid apps: Monument Valley ($3.99), Leo’s Fortune ($4.99), Thomas Was Alone ($5.99), Botanicula ($4.99), Machinarium ($4.99), and Hitman Go ($4.99).
Listed below are the Best Android Games of 2014 according to Google:
